If I don’t laugh, I’ll cry. I have the same exact symptoms that you do. They seem so strange as far as the combination of them together. Everything you said has happened to me in the past year. I think we need to talk. I am in this one year so far - I cannot imagine going through this for the rest of my life. Please message me. It’s hard to talk in “detail” on this forum without sounding creepy, sometimes. (TMI)
You are so sweet. And, so is MM. MM has been holding my hand since the beginning. I wanted to be of service to you because you are having the same weird symptoms as me. Rarely, others talk about an inflammed pinkie or loose stools after taking MMI.
You are soooo blessed to have children. It wasn’t in my past/future and my GD was confirmed a year ago - a few years after I went post menopausal.
I did a lot of research the moment I was confirmed so I could decide what was right for me (ATD or RAI or surgery) I have little trust for conventional doctors. And, I figured 50% of what I read online was going to be B.S. If enough people or studies said that certain things worked, I paid more attention to it.
Why would you recommend low dose Naltrexone? (You sound like a drug dealer. :-) I read a little about it and they use it for Hashimoto’s Disease. I have Graves. Personally, I hate the whole idea of taking pills.
Thank you for your advice, thou. What did it do for you?
BTW, what do you do about the loose BMs? That is my big issue next to being a little tired. Take Care.
I took the Low Dose Naltrexone (do a research on this) for both my GD and RA for several years on and off. i had to finally stop because the LDN lowered my FT3 too much and I struggled to get it back up. Elaine Moore mentioned that the LDN can do that to some people with the FT3 issue.
{{{hugs}}}
I have had good results from the Herb Pharm products. I will order the Thyroid lifter to see if it has the opposite effect of the Thyroid Calm, I used to use.
Thanks foe the suggestion, MM.
I read a little on the LDN, and I just don’t know. My idea of “fixing” my issue is without more pills.
Take Care.
It can be quite embarrassing about the bowel movements.
When this all started for me (one year ago) I had lost 35 lbs. and had diarrhea (very loose - like water) every day. I had to drink electrolyte water or coconut water to deal with all the minerals being lost. When you go to the doctor, make sure he checks certain things for deficiencies. Like Vitamin D, Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, to name a few. Have the doctor check his “male hormones”
GD can make a person anxious/nervous because the thyroid hormones are flooding your system because of the auto-immune disease is sending signals that are not really there.
This could be a reason why your husband is possibly angry/mean and not physically interested.
Are there any signs of eye issues? If so, make sure he is not smoking - it can make it worse.
The other thing is the change in his diet, personal products and the cleaning products in the home.
YOU can help him with that. Take Care.
