I was on tapazole for 4 weeks and started itching and liver inflammation. Stopped the tapazole a month ago and now i am only on atenolol 25 mg 1xday. Just had my labs done and my Free T4 is 1.3 in a range of (0.6-2.0) and my Free T3 is 3.2 in a range of (2.3-4.2). I feel pretty good except for a dizzy spell, headache a few times along with my face feeling very flushed. If I understand everything I would not even be medicated with my labs like they are, is this right? The endo is ready to discuss RAI and I am not going to do this so I want to be prepared. I have not had any pulse rates over 100 since starting atenolol but am always in 80's or 90's. Where do I go from here? Thanks!
And while you're waiting, be sure to research RAI and TT so if you get to a point where you have to have a permanent treatment, you'll be well informed and can make the best decision for yourself.
