I am sorry you are having issues. At least you have found the source of your anxiety from the Graves' Disease.
I have had GD since the latter half of 2000, several months after the birth of my last child. I have also treated with just the meds.
As for the weight gain and such which are common, the meds taken for the thyroid levels of the Free T3 and the Free T4 needs to be reduced to keep the FT4 at the upper range and the FT3 at mid range to keep things as balanced as possible and the weight off. It is quite common to get over medicated (hypO) to the point of low thyroid levels.
