Here are my labs at the time of Diagnosis 31/2 wks ago, I havn't had any drawn since, and have been on Methimozole 40mg daily for 5 days, and starting tomorrow will cut back to 10mg daily until I can see an Endo.
The test she used to Diagnose Grave's was my TSH recepter ab high at
35.92 I guess the normal range is

Ha, at least she used the right AB test to more closely be able to tell if you have Graves. With me they only did my TPO (which was 519) and TGab which was less then 20 (which is negative, diagnostic wise). By the time I got educated enough to ask for a TSI ( I think a TRab is a good one too) I was already long on the MMI.

I do not really get too much in someone's elses labs, value wise. I feel I do not really master that. But I think our queen MM is going to say that the TOTAL T3 is not so usefull and where is the FT3? LOL

How do you feel? What did you decide on the breastfeeding?

I don't have my free T3 only total. Why, what does tht tell you?

Nursenat, I feel good today, I think the Methimazole has finally kicked in. Will my hair stop falling out? Will I grow back what I've lost?

The Free T3 uses the Free unbound which is not affected by hormones, diet, etc. The Total T3 does and is an older and unreliable test to use now since the newer Free Ts have come out.

Maglady...for me...I lost a great amount of hair..mostly on the top of my head similar to how men do. Once I stabilized on meds and maintained as closely as possible to mid range my hair started to grow back. It took about 6 months and I re-grew about 75% back...I was happy with that. If you look at my pics for TED it also shows the time frame of my hair re-growth. Hang in there...what your going through isnt going to be forever...Big Hugs..Kathy
