Is it just me and maybe I'm starting menopause, or does this happen to others? Right after I started taking those Mez pills (5mg/day now), my menses has shown up like a hurricane every month. I haven't been this volitile since I was a teen.

I feel it days before, then bam and it's heavy for the full 7 days, all with delightful cramps and restless nights. I used to be half this bad.

Back in the early 2000s when I had began with Graves' Disease, my cycles stopped. Then when I got put on the MMI, my cycles restarted. The only time it gets heavy is when I'm heading hypO.

Does this sound like what is happening with you? If so, pay attention to lab results of where you are at with the levels and see if dose adjustment is needed.

I thought I was in menapause haven't had a period in almost two years. When I became hypo I have had my period for the last three months. Had a pap smear and everything was fine.Not happy about it but it is what it is, forgot mentionn I,m 56.

Oh gosh, yes! When I was hypo my cycle would go for weeks at a time and heavy, changing super tampon every hour (sorry, TMI) but yes, it's a sign of low thyroid levels.
