How long ago was your last med reduction ?
How cool is that ?
I'm betting on this theory. :)
Symptoms that only lasted three days were not "true" thyroid symptoms, but were life.
Anytime I felt crummy for one week, I had to get labs immediately....this saved me from going further in a wrong direction. During those kinds of "crummy", it generally was steady crummy.. with the last of the week being slightly worse than the first of the week.
Yes.. your in the grey area...between the 3 day rule and the 7 day rule.
When this happens it's best to look at the bigger picture. I think your still fairly early on in this process, lacking a stable dose for an extended time frame.
I also seem to remember you did drift too low recently before your last dose reduction.
Between those two things I lean to getting labs now.
Plus..one other thing. When I was still on meds, I tried every variation in time between labs..and in the end for me.. as long as I got labs every four weeks I just did good. Before I slipped and slid.
Doing labs every four weeks does not men we need all the tests. Eventually you fin how your body and your medication is working, and many of these 4 week checks can just be the FT4, That's the one we base our does on.
So those are my made up for me "rules".. don't laugh, or never mind..you can laugh.. I really needed a pre-set plan.. my hypo brain was terrible. :)
