I have been having bloodwork for Graves since 2006. In that time my Free T-3 and Free T-4 have only been out of range one time. At that time the Dr. started me on Tapazole which made me feel awful and affected my liver. My TSH has always been extremely low. I had bloodwork last week and here are the results.
Free T3 3.3 (2.3-4.2)
Fast TSH less than 0.03 (0.3-5.00)
Free T4 1.1 (0.6-2.0)
TSH 0.05 (0.30-5.00)
The endo wants me to repeat the TSH and see him in a week. What will this show him if T3 and T4 are within normal range? I haven't felt well. I am gaining weight, tired, muscle weakness and hairloss. These all seem like hypo symtoms to me. He has wanted to radiate the thyroid since the one high bloodtest. Any advice? Are we missing something else? Thanks!

Your doctor needs to realize that the TSH is affected by thyroid antibodies. The TSH is useless for any thyroid problem and cannot be used to dose meds by. The Free Ts are what to be going by with.

I agree you sound hypO.
If it were me, I'd look for another doctor who doses by the Free T4, at least, and not just look at the TSH.
