I am not sure what your latest Free T4 numbers are? Would you go and take a peek at them?
Even though we don't go by the TSH and judging by how low yours have been, I am sure you likely have some TSI that needs coming down.
If you are able to request a TSI, that would be great.
As for your Total T3 numbers, I am not sure why your doctor will not order the Free T3. The Free Ts are not effected by diet, hormones, etc.
So if you're going by your TT3 numbers and eating all the goitrogens will definitely show up for it.
Mid range for your TT3 is: 140
You are below range with the TT3.

1.24 in July. So it's holding where it should for me. I don't understand why no FT3 either - I just get the "I don't do that test" so feel kind of like a fish out of water as I understood the relationship with the FT3 and how I was feeling. I can't say I feel bad with the TT3 where it is but it looks on the low side to me....Thanks Laura!!!
the gradual withdrawal from the meds - every other day and then every 3rd day to see if the levels hold? Thanks again!
I wonder if my diet is what is affect the TT3 since I eat a lot of the goitergen - sorry for the spelling - veggies and fruits - they are low in cal and high in great vitamins and fiber.....but until I am off the meds guess I don;t want to go too low. What do you think about being taken off the meds with the tsh at the lower end? I know that
is what he will want to do - I'm thinking go to every other day for 6 weeks and then go to every 3 days then off if everything holds true.
Ideas?
