I guess I was going to leave this article alone and see what comes up, but as a lifetime abused person in recovery there is one piece that bothers me.

--- that women don't speak up, therefore they get thyroid disease, which implies that it is our fault, which victumizes further.

--------Thyroid disease, Graves I understand is largely genetic. Not only that, but so many men get it too.---------

I really get annoyed at this day and age when doctors endorse this kind of rhetoric.

I don't mean to trash the whole article. There certainly is some good parts, but that part should have been left out. In my opinion.
