Hi all,
Well, went to Oregon Health Science University Endo lab today in search of the needle in a haystack and I think I'm still searching. Dr did a test called FT4 serum - is that the same as a regular Free T4 test? It had
different levels - my test results were .9 with ranges of .6 to 1.2 which
would make it dead center. He doesn't like to use Free T3 but total T3 and
I forget what his reasoning was for that one. He doses by TSH and wants to increase the MMI to 2.5 mg which will bring the TSH up while sending me hypo......UGH!!!! Anyway I'm just trying to understand the 2 tests and
see what the difference is if any.

I am sorry you got another one who doses by TSH. I am going to Dr Murray on the 20th, I will let you know how that went.
