I'm also a type one diabetic and have gained about 50 lbs since may with Graves. Do you have any other advice on food ideas to help towards weight management? The extra weight is not good for the blood sugars. Also how did you come to find this information?
How are the thyroid levels of the Free T3 and the Free T4 are doing? If within the ranges in the 'right' places to feel best there at with the correct medication dosing with the ATD (antithyroid drug), the blood sugar levels wouldn't act up too much out of the norms.
It sounds like that perhaps the Free Ts are not in the 'right' places and dose adjustments may be needed?
