Hi, This week I have officially been diagnosed with Graves Disease. I have lost a lot of weight currently weighing in at 7 stone 5, have a racing heart, skin itching but have that controlled now.I have been diagnosed with thyroid eyes so being treated with tablets for the next 18 months. I can cope with most of this but not my eyes, they are so sore all the time and swollen. I look in the mirror and think this is not me, most days at work i get "your eyes look so sore and swollen". I am being referred to an eye specialist as vision gets blurry some times, eyes look like they have gel in them. I am not vain but this is making me feel so low, I struggle putting mascara on as my eys are so swollen and puffy eyelids are covered in mascara.
I am glad I found this website and hoping to share experiences with people on here, on this journey.

If your Free T3 levels are too high and you are still very hypER (before starting meds), wait on taking the Selenium.
Acetyl L-Carnitine would be great to take along with the meds if the Free T3 and the Free T4 are still high.
