Trab range - 0 - 1.5 IU/L (under 1.5) means you don't have graves disease, more than 1.5 means you do
When the disease was active, when my eyes got bad and so on then the level was up to 40. Once it got "under control", meaning I was more or less euthyroid, my eyes weren't red and irritated any more, the levels have wavered between 3 and 9. I interpret this to mean the disease is being kept in check, but is still all primed and ready to erupt again given the chance.
Since I wrote the post yesterday I've found one study which says it might be wise to keep taking low dose carbimazole. PMID: 19092290
