Go slow and you're likely to be fine.
Make sure the liquid multi you take is Iodine-free.
If your Free T3 is not high, taking extra Selenium is fine. But if if high, the extra will only fan the fuel to the fire and make one even more hypER and raise the FT3 even more.

I have to be careful too with the Selenium. I just take no more than 100 mcg per day several days a week...

Also, I made an appt with an Opthal. I recommend you do the same even if you have no eye symptoms yet. That way they have a baseline for you. If I do have eye changes, I'll have no problem taking steroids or beginning eye drops. I think it's better to prevent the problems then treat them later. A simple over the counter anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen will help relieve any muscle aches (including eyes). Hang in there Maglady! I'm thinking of you and hoping for the best. Like you, I can handle almost any aspect of this illness except the eye changes. It would be devastating to me!
