Accupuncture

Has anyone tried Accupuncture for Graves? I thought I should ask before I just go off willy nilly and try it. If you have, did it help? Or darn near kill ya. Would you recommend it, or should I save my money for Christmas?

I tried it, back when I had Hashimoto's and again in August but it didn't do much for me. She also said that chinese medicine wise, diagnosticly I seemed healthy. They check different types of pulses (different than western medicine pulses) and tongue appearance. Well, obviously, I wasn't healthy.

However, my husband is really helped with his sinus infections and some other issues related to getting sick often and heart burn. Our chinese medicine doc thought him to do his own needle setting for his complaints and his health has improved greatly.

With accupuncture, though, you will have to go for a few times depending on how long you have been sick already. Just saying ... you probably need a few "christmas presents" to sacrifice.

The natural MD I saw does acupunture for almost everything and usually recommends! But he said not for Graves............
I didn't go in to it with him because I was not interested at the time since I was then itchy all over, so freakin hot, shaky, and weak from muscle loss and he had said I needed meds first and foremost.
