Since being diagnosed with cancer last month I have alot of questions. The one that is keeping me puzzled is how do they find thyroid cancer??? I had an ultrasound in Dec 2007 right after diagnoses. When I was in there the tech left and went and got the radiologist, he came and looked and said it was normal then sent me home. I have had many white blood cell counts, CBC and a rash of tests before the TT. What was missed??? My body was rejecting the ATDS and I was always sick. My endo saw only me once in Nov'07 after my reg doc found GD in Sept'07 and discharged me from his care in Jan'09. Was I just a missed case or is there something seriously wrong with the way I was doctored? I am feeling like I was mis-diagnosed.

Hello, I’m new to the group. I went to the ER a month ago for heart palpitations and dizziness and the doctor ran some blood test and diagnosed me with hyperthyroidism. She told me I need to see an endocrinologist in 3-5 days. Has anyone been misdiagnosed before? I don’t really trust ER docs. I feel horrible though and I see an endocrinologist in 2 weeks.
