I have been off all thyroid meds since Monday a week ago. I had the uptake scan and ultrasound . But I have found that this week I have slept like a baby. Also I have gained weight like crazy this month and I don't seem to be able to stop. I don't go back to the doctor until july10. I was thinking of not going back on meds at all till then. I was thinking of starting fresh after over a year on meds. Any ideas.

I think you were too hypo before stopping the meds ???

If so, you WOULD feel better as you come back to normal. The trick is going to be catching it before you get too hyper. There's no set pattern here. You need to listen to your body and trust it.
