If it were me, I would find another doctor. This one has you on too high of a dosage. Your levels have dropped too low and you're very hypO. Do not let a doctor over medicated you and put you in the danger of going into a Myexdema Coma.

A doctor needs to pay attention to the Free T4 to dose by and not to use the TSH to dose by with.

Yes indeed hon. You are being mismanaged for sure. Can you find another doc that will know more about your case? Did you ever have antibody testing for both Graves and Hahimoto's disease?

There is one test on there that said it is an thyroid stimulating test and it's saids positive for Graves

t past her nurse this week I'm gonna find somebody else but here it takes you two to three months to get an appointment. I was told by my family doc. i was sick in Jan. and i didn't get an appontment with endo till Mar., 19 and was just on beta blockers which i felt 10000% percent then.

That's simply not true.

I do not understand how an insurance company tells an MD that you can not have any labwork yet. If that's the case, it's up to the Dr/his nurse to provide documentation why he sees it medical neccesary to do this. And usually it's an office nurse/MA who needs to do this. It can be a bit of a job, dealing with insurance companies but it is their job!

I have worked as an RN in this position and all it takes is persistance. A caring nurse gets the job done.

My endo ordered labs every 2 weeks in the beginning, I have had NO problems. I have a standing order now and can go in when ever I see fit. Not that I go every 2 weeks anymore but just to tell you: I think it is odd that an insurance company is denying you lab work.
