If it were me I'd stop the Selenium for now. It will drive up the FT3.
It is normal to bounce around a bit with thyroid levels as one goes down on the dosage as well as going off of it.
Maybe consider not training so hard with the exercises?
{{{hugs}}}
I wondered the same about the selenium although I stayed on it from Dec because the
Total T3 dropped drastically while the FT4 was stable. The FT4 has been hanging at 1.2 for months and without the FT3 though I have no feel for how that is working. I have the FT3 on this lab too. I have also backed off the exercise some but hasn't made much of a difference. Like we all know hypo/hyper overlap and I wasn't sure if anxiety can go either direction.....that is my elephant in the room....:))
Thanks again,
Cindee
Anxiety can be entirely separate from the thyroid, or can be caused by feeling out of whack one way or the other. IMO, it can also affect the blood test by stimulating FT3 production.
I thought selenium was supposed to help regulate the immune system to tone down its autoimmune response. Anyone have more information on that?
I guess I am in remission now. I took my last dose of MMI after my December blood test.
When I was on MMI I thought it was best to take my dose in the evening when I could tolerate being more on the hypo side. Even if you have to increase the dose a little, maybe the evening would be best for you too.
