Graves' Disease Support Group
Graves-Basedow disease is a medical disorder that may manifest several different conditions including hyperthyroidism (over activity of thyroid hormone production), infiltrative exophthalmos (protruberance of one or both eyes and associated problems) and infiltrative dermopathy (a skin condition usually of the lower extremities). This disorder is the most common cause of...
Elaine Moore mentions that Iodine after an RAI increases antithyroid production. Something people with RAI want to avoid because then other parts of the body such as the eyes, shins, etc. can get attacked.

I am trying as much as I can to drink out of a glass water bottle and using only ceramics to eat/drink out of to keep the Xenoestrogens down. I use only organic and natural products as free of GMOs and synthetics and other chems/toxs such as household, laundry and personal products. Including organic and natural deos as free as possible.
For the vits/supplements that I can tolerate:
Zinc, Selenium, B complex, Magnesium, multivit which is Iron/Iodine free (I add back the Iron though), vitamin D, B12, Boron, also a liver support capsule (I try to take that several times a week), fish oil, vitamin butter, etc.
The one bread from Costco (I buy two different kinds) is the Kirkland's brand. I don't have it in front of me to see all the ingredients, but it has some organic ingredients if not all. The other brand is Dave's Killer bread. I don't these have anything out of the ordinary in the one I buy - 21 grains.
I try not to consume much coffee (2 cups per day on anverage), but find if I stick with the organic brands, I do way better. Again avoiding the chems/toxs is a must for me.
I am trying Selenium right now to raise my FT3 (I do find that the lower the FT3 is, the worst many of my symptoms are) and I am consuming two raw Brazil nuts per day.
I pay attention to my cycles and know when during the cycles that I feel poorly and why.
Also making sure I try to consume as much organic diet and less processed as possible. Sometimes I want something crunchy so I look for organic chips/crackers such as from Annie's Homegrown, etc.
These are what I do for myself...not sure what would do for you as we are all so different in what we consume and what things react to our body...

Let me know what you think. I was going to consider cutting it in half. Problem for me is I allergic to shellfish and strawberries and don't eat or drink dairy anymore.
Thanks again!
In the past when I would try some things, I used to try to get very small bottles of the vits/supps to see how I would do. I paid close attention to what were put in the vitamins as inactive ingredients.
I can drink raw organic milk as well as organic yogurt (I buy plain and vanilla) then I mixed my vits/supps in by opening up the capsules and pouring them.
Why not ask Elaine Moore (since she is 26+ years post RAI) and see what she thinks of the Breast formula to take. If it were Elaine, would she try something like this or would she look for other alternatives just so the added Iodine doesn't increase antibody production?
