I've gotten a few, and so has Daisyduck.

I just ignore them. They're forum trolls who either want something from you or have nothing better to do. Sometimes if you click on their websites, etc. you could get a computer worm or virus.

I had a friend request from someone who has joined no groups and has only a couple of "friends". I have just ignored it. I always check out people I don't recognize on their profile before accepting their friend requests.

I ignore everyone who sends a friend request unless they have participated in a discussion, either in this group or in another and seem as if they're really part of the group.

You can report them to DS, I just hit ignore. Don't accept a friend request without clicking on that persons name and checking what groups they are in and what they have posted. Most have only posted the kind of message you received and nothing to the groups.

I always check out anybody before I accept any requests.I always have to be carefull because of the boys' bio.She stalked me for a while on Facebook by adding all of my friends as hers when I blocked her from my page.So if I dont know someone I don't accept them.

I never understood the concept of friends on groups like this -- we're all posting to each other and can send private messages, anyway. It isn't like Facebook where you can see only your friends' and their friends' posts. :-)

I've had someone pop in and ask to chat with me saying they were from some other country. I've ignored them because I suspect they are not legit.
