Thank you all for the advice given. By not saying anything to GD and allowing her Mom to be her Mom, GD is not going to live with Mom. In fact she hasn't even gone for a visit. Remember I said in my last post, Mom got mad because of the lice? GD was only trying to inform her, since she came back here with it. Well, text messages haven't really changed.
GD had a concert this past Tuesday. Mom lives two blocks away from the school and said she had made plans and wasn't able to go. Mind you GD posted on facebook and texted Mom well in advance. Spots on leopards never change!
Mom has been sending text that are mean and hurtful. Last one was a post of FB the day after the concert Bio didn't want to go, she made plans.
"Wow it suck knowing your child could care less about you. Going to enjoy my night off anywazz. " It was a school night and GD is in the IB program and study is the main focus for her right now!
My GD is old enough to see and I have been praying she does see what I feared she'd walk into if and when Mom files with the courts.

My mind is running amuck with the "mothers" statement. Ummm since when should a child have to "care" about a "mother" who has little to do with her and berates her and says horrible things about her? What I mean is, shouldn't the "mother" be making more of an effort to care for her child and not trash talking her on FB or any other social media? Does she not get what it does to the child?
