I went to an arbitration hearing over custody of my daughter's youngest. The paternal grandma agreed not to seek permanent custody and will allow my daughter (when she gets out of jail in two weeks) to have her youngest Mon-Fri and grandma will keep baby on weekends. If daughter stays clean for 3-6 months, she can have have baby back. My daughter is lucky, I would not have relinquished baby so easily. I would not have allowed her so much access to baby for alot longer period of time. I can have visitation anytime I want. YEA!!!!

I had a custody hearing for youngest girl living with me. Daddy wanted custody (only been out of prison since April). I couldn't believe how judge and even my attorney praised bio for staying out of trouble and wanting to establish a relationship. My attorney said he was so nice because he does not want to upset daddy. I had told attorney I am scared of bio. He is a very violent man, with many assault/domestic violence/theft/drug convictions. He was even questioned, but not charged with stalking/raping women. I am having a security system put in my home. Anyway my attorney asked for a 6 month continuance because my granddaughter has had to deal with so much lately, ie my husband dying, my upcoming surgery. Judge granted request so I don't have to deal with this again until August.

I am scheduled to have surgery to resect liver next week. This should increase my chances of survival by 20-30%. I am grateful to be in remission and to be a candidate for the surgery. Thank you everyone who prayed for me. The Lord has answered. Please continue prayers!
