Just to give a short recap. DD shows up while kids were home, I told her she had to leave. DD started a BIG problem with calling me a b@#ch and F$#@ing C$nt, and also pushed me while my GS (her bio son) was wrapped around my leg scared of what was going on. I had company from out of state here and he assisted me. My husband comes home from work, our friend and I tell him what went on and husband said "we're done with her". Of course I am , I respect myself way too much to be treated that way!
Firecrackers in the front yard, then a BIG firework on the roof. I e-mailed my DD and told her how living in the desert, she put us all in jeopardy that night as the roof could have caught fire and to stop or we'll have to see about our options to make her stop. Her reply was, She isn't going to play my games and someday I would have to answer to her daughter as to why I'm keeping them apart and she hopes I die a slow painful death alone. I didnt reply.
Fathers day, a card was placed on my husbands truck. Husband read it and left it on the counter placed back in the envelope. I just opened the card, It was a musical card and how she found it was beyond me, The song( a Bushel and a Peck) my father and mother sang this song to each other while I was growing up and my father sang to it to my mother while she was passing. Yes I told her about the song when my Mother died, but damn that song was out in the 40's and she found it!!!! Now I feel as tender as that song was to my heart, is no more!
Yesterday I get a message from her asking for the kids shoe sizes, she "purchased" some shoes and wanted to make sure they were the right size before placing in my mail box. I didn't respond, I get another text saying I'm in the same room as the phone and she wants to know the size so she can drop them off before they get home...I didnt respond.
Husband tells me this morning after I tell him about my text, that DD contacted him about the kids stuff thats over at her place and how she wants to bring it over. My husband replied that he has about three more weeks before the rooms will be ready.
Looks/sounds like she is trying to wheezle her way back in for when the adoption is done? Guess what, it isn't going to happen! The day after the adoption the kids and I are going on vacation to Utah, she and my husband can do the kids things while were gone if she is really wanting the kids to have their things.

I'm so happy we have the new construction, I've always thought she might have a key to the side door, which is no more, We have a new door in the front with new knobs and keys and the back door is new as well, so she can't get into our house without breaking in. We also put a lock on the gate since that's how she came into the back yard the day I asked her to leave. I have to say this is the first time I have felt secure in our home in years.
It's creepy, scarry and down right crazy on her part. Which is why I'm not going to respond to anything from her.
My sil who abused the kids threatened me via text and in the hallway outside the court room. He blamed me for breaking up his family, please. Based on his history I had no doubt he could and would carry through with his threat. I have a big German shepherd dog and got my concealed weapon carry permit and a home alarm system. We are moving to another town for more distance to a gated neighborhood. I have an OP but as you said its really of no use if they want to hurt you but it can help in prosecution later. Also if she has a op on her one of the stips can be she can't use or drink so if she gets picked up for anything while high she will be arrested for violation of op. I only felt truly safe when he was locked up.
