I too, go to court on Aug 3rd. This is when they take the parents rights away.
I will be looking at your post on the 3rd for good news!!
Now up above is my blog of hope because the Deputy of Programs came to my house and said its mandatory now for all caretakers to receive a written safety plan even monitors, and saw several cracks and holes in the CPS case and that I was doing what I knew to do based on just the best interest of the kids. blah, blah, blah.
The day after the hearing I had a CPS investigator come out to my home with Neglect concerns about my oldest GD who I have guardianship of for the last 7 years. The first issue on the report is
,"The bedroom did not appear to look like that of a little girls room"
My grand-daughter is older, she is 12 1/2 years old, she is not a little girl and she decorated her bedroom before the other kids even came to the house! Based on this statement what is a girls bedroom to look like in the eyes of CPS!!!!
2nd issue: I put my GD in danger because I allowed her to go to the visits with my daughter to see the other kids.
Team: My daughter had to request permission and got permission from the caseworker to allow my GD at her visits which are supervised.
I'm not allowed access to her UA results nor am I told if she goes for her UA's or not. CPS is the only one who is allowed that information.
so, if she wasn't going to her UA's, Why did CPS allow permission for my GD to go to the visits with her? Isnt a missed UA considered positive? I'm so upset, because CPS had knowledge and felt to keep that knowledge to themselves and they, not me, put my GD in danger! I told the CPS investigator this and her face was like what is going on?
I find out CPS caseworker allowed two other children to come with my daughter to visits. This is putting more than just my GD in danger, but guess what. neither parent has been contacted with neglect from CPS...So why just me?
