I have to get Guardianship rolling even thou we are on the fast track for adoption (I was told don't be so sure it is a fast track). I got signed up for fostercare workshop coming in May just to figure out if I want to go that route. I work full time and it just makes it hard to do the many things and classes that I was told to do.
They freaked when I told them that my SW didn't fill out paperwork last Sept for my gs can get accessed. Even if my GS doesn't have any severe problems they will guide us to get the help and funds for any special needs he may have. They also told me not to sign adoption paperwork until he is accessed.
I think I will have to take Family medical leave or adoption leave in order to do the many things I have to do. I won't get paid however; I won't loss my job.
I first have to get guardianship because it will give me more rights in case my SW trys to pull any stuff. After the babies lawyer was connected that my gs wasn't accessed the SW called and told me he was going to visit my gs at the daycare. He drilled the daycare and she told him she was concerned that my gs wasn't walking. However; she stated he was a very happy baby. I think he is fishing so I need to get more legal rights.
