This community is dedicated to grandparents who are the primary caregivers of their grandchildren. In cases where the parents are not willing or able to provide adequate care for their children, grandparents may take on the role of primary caregivers. I have a request from the National Kinship Alliance for Children. If you could look to your State or area for information on Kinship/Grandparents groups and either post the information or send me a message we would greatly appreciate it. We need everyone's help! We need to identify every group of kinship caregivers in this country. We want to strengthen the voice of kinship caregivers by linking all of us together in a coordinated manner. If you can help us find your groups in your area of the country, not just your state, and including a contact name and number...it would be SO HELPFUL!!!
