Now that she's off drugs (we think), I'M the one who needs them -- just to put up with her every weekend! LOLOL!

My DD lost sight of GD for a few minutes on the playground last weekend and she came to me saying she was so stressed about GD not coming when she called her that she just couldn't stand it and started crying!

Laughing again!

HAHA!

Now Pinky's running around the house asking the universe how to get her kids to listen to her.

This is my biggest laff of the day so far. LOL!

I feel sorry for you having to deal with her every single weekend, Sara. Is the amount of help she contributes with the kids worth having her in your home that often??

GMa, I ask myself that all the time! On one hand, I truly am "off duty" -- Pinky takes over with the kids, watching movies, doing stuff we should be doing, if we were just grandparents.

On the other hand, when I say she never stops talking I'm being literal!!! Talk, talk, talk. Lecturing the kids, talking to me, talking to her father, talking to the pets, talking to herself. Yak-yak-yak! And she doesn't know how to relate to the kids at all, so they don't listen to her and they argue all weekend.

But on the other hand, my husband and I can hide out in our room and watch TV. If we want to go out to dinner, we finally can.

I suppose as long as I can figure out how to keep from getting a headache, the pros outweigh the cons. LOL!

Sara... That is too funny... I would almost welcome that with my DD... when she is here It is more work for me... she allows GD (2) to do whatever she wants destroying the house brick by brick claiming she will clean in up..yet we are suppose to live is destruction until she does (btw it never happens)... she yells at My two and is on the phone 24/7 arguing with XBF... griping and complaining at our every move in our own hose... all this if she isn't piles in MY bed all day watching TV and sleeping... I love her and always will but I don't like her to come spend the weekend.

One good thing about Pinky is that she's neat and a cleaner. I suppose that's because it's her only talent. MEOW! LOL!

She runs around picking up after the kids (which isn't good, but hey, I'll take it), does their laundry (which the eldest is supposed to do), cleans their bathroom, etc. She used to clean houses for a living until she got caught stealing people's medication. HAH! So at least she knows what she's doing.

The thing is, the whole time she's doing it she's talking, singing, humming, complaining -- driving me crazy. I think she drives the kids crazy, too, but of course they'll never say anything. I do see a lot of eye-rolling on weekends, though. HAHAHAHA!

Sara- I can so relate! These bios have it so rough, don't they? My DD is so busy with her "to do" list that she doesn't even have time to visit her 19 month son. Amazing- I work and am able to also care for her child! I just sake my head and wonder if they ever think of anyone but themselves?

It's getting late - that was supposed to be "shake" my head. Lol.

Sara, actually you relate Pinky's activities to my mother-in-law. She was always wiping and cleaning and hanging over the kids. Also what you share about Pinky sounds like a bipolar high state.

Daisy, it could be a bipolar high state, except that she's always in it! She never "cycles" down - she's always been hyper ever since I first met her.

There is no timing on the "high" state and it can go on. Medication does help this but only with the cooperation of the patient, which may very well be unlikely.

I can so relate, my unemployed BY CHOICE (college-educated) self absorbed daughter is so BUSY she can't even manage to get my gs to school on time, ME ME ME the triple M syndrome......I don't even know what to do anymore, I guess you have to laugh to keep from crying.....I go to therapy today, THANK GOD......I wish you the best...Hugs and prayers
