Ri's mom made the same comment to Ri a few months ago. She said I have Wed.'s off at work let your gran know that I will babysit for you if she needs me.
The mom being a babysitter?????????? That is just weird they even think that away.
I would not pay her a dime.
I think if you have to give her money anyway you should make her earn it is someway or another put her sister in charge and tell the mom if she wants money she has to watch the baby on the other hand if she works and you dont give her money tell her that it is her child and she can either watch the baby while you work of pay her sister to do it
Now in saying all that I do realize that it might you feel better to lay it to her straight but to actually get her to do it is a whole other story
When my daughter had moved back home for a brief time I didnt change anything I still took care of the baby and my mom still came to sit with the baby while I worked and I still gave my daughter money see what I mean about being another story? but it feels good to say it anyway LOL
