In cases where the parents are not willing or able to provide adequate care for their children, grandparents may take on the role of primary caregivers. I dont know why but today my daughter has been on my mind and my heart has been heavy all day. I have not spoken with her since the day after Easter. I got a few text in July but nothing since. I feel the need to call her have lunch with her but I know that I can't. Reminder: I stopped all visits at my home the day after Easter. I have registed the boys in the safe program but she has not registered herself. If I would call or see her see would see it has a weekness and think she can work on seeing the boys. It is best that I don't talk with her or see her. My heart is heavy today and I don't know why. I have processed the fact that she can not be in our lives so I don't know where this is coming from. It feels deep in my soul. I want to request a prayer from ya'll. Ask God to watch over her, be with her and if he must take her home please take her peacefully. This is my prayer for her each day.
As mothers we never lose that want to protect feeling but we have to let go of what we have no control over. As hard as it is I have also prayed that my xdil gets off the drugs or has a peaceful quick end in this world.
