Try to make new "special things" for the two of you to do so she can save her old special things for daddy. Instead of liking the beaters maybe she can lick the bowl or put her finger print on all the cupcakes....who knows...it may help it may not, just a thought.
Kids like rituals and having a different one for each adult or special person in their life is no bad thing
My granddaughter 5 years old (the one I have custody of) kisses her new brother (7 mos. old) on the elbow, thats his special kiss place, NOBODY else gets elbow kisses.... her idea not ours, but you can bet if anybody else kissed his elbow she would cry. Her mom (my dtr) lives about 2 hrs away, today was the first time we had seen her in over 2 months.
Enough from me.
Hang in there and dump to your hearts content, we all do.
I am so glad the baby is doing well!
My gs is in a similar situation, but I have not had to cross that bridge yet, as he is only 3 and does not realize he isn't the only person in the world....lol. ;)
He now has 2 half sisters, by my ex dil, whom neither he nor I have ever met. One lives with her so far the other does not. I sometimes do wonder what this will all pan out to be...... *cry* Definitely empathising with you!
