I am in a couple other groups. I dont have good relationships with my sons. And afraid to say anything bout how they are taking care of my grandson. my oldest son is really estranged except verbally when i make effort he has 2 children i love dearly but he has already threatened to keep away from me.So have a wall up and visit and leave. My youngest son we dohave relationship with but very fragile due to wife. she has 3 other children and my grandson and love so dearly.I have a problem i dontlike the way they are taking care of him and worried. For onehe has exzema, they have 3 lg dogs in house and continues to have rash, when he comes to visit he always hasdirty ears, andi give him abath due to all the dog hair they have, and rash seems to clear up some when hedoes come to our house, and we have talked to them about this issue. But just forget it they get so mad Imafraid theywould keep him away. And now they wont brush his teeth and that breaks my heart .My son works all the time he is a nurse yea thats right a nurse. his wife doesnt work for a year due to injury. She stays in bed all thetime really. LAZY honestly. Her kids are16 yrs,20yrs,21yrs.and my sweet grand 2yrs old.She doesnt have him on a bed schedule he is up at 4am playing. Andthat is true i would keep him sometimeandhe would be up.My husband had to stop overnight visits i coulnt take my meds.

is he in danager? Do you know if he is seen my a doctor? I would ask these questions. Sometimes it is hard for us to watch our grown children care for our grandchild I know I did not like alot of the things my daughter was doing for mine. I tried to set back and let her raise them her way till I found out she was using drugs.I had to do something even if she told me I couldnt see the boys. I do have them living with me now for the past 4 years. Check your state laws. In Texas grandparnets have rights. I will pray for you to have wisdome to know how to proceed.

I dont believe he is in danger. We are not permitted to go to there house. They live 15 min away. And we have to wait for my son to bring him over. And when keep him for a few hours they make every excuse for us not to bring him back to there house. It just breaks my heart. To me we are not welcome there there is something behind that door they dont want us to see.My imagination runs all the time. I was up at 2amjust thinking about my gs.We haveprovided diapers, wipes from day one.But i we do that out of the kindness of my heart andwill continue to.

what would happen if you just stop by with diapers and such? I say again please check the laws in your state. In texas grandparnets have rights. Grandparnets play a very big role in childrens lives even when the parents are good parents happy healthy home. Children can not fight for themselfs someone must be an addviacte for them. It is not an easy job. Keep praying but also do some research. If you know the doctor call them they will not be able to tell you anything but they can listen to your concerns and ask questions on the next visit. If the child goes to school go there do the samething. When you go just give facts and give your concerns without bashing the parents this will let them know you are true with your concerns.

Oh my do we dare go to there house. We have tried that and guess what they dont answer the door. They say in our state we dont have gp children and rights. my sons wife said her mom took her sister to court to see her children and they didnt have rights even though they took care of one of the children for period of time.I dont knowthe dr i thought of that to. and my gs is 2 yrs. He is the love of my life and icry everytime i think of him he just hugs me and his pop-pop so hard. God Bless The Children

I am so sorry to hear that maybe write your congressman I know it doesnt help right now but start a movement to get the laws changed. Call child protected services. Here if the child is not in danager they dont do much, too many cases theysay. sad I know. Document everything this will help you when the time comes when there is a case. Maybe there is a way to approuch them without them getting defensive. When they do come over leave articels around where they will see them about children with Eczema(skin condition) or try the approuch of I read this articel about Eczema would you like it. Treat them as you would a child when you want them do to something they dont want to do (with honey) (make them think it is their ideal. I am just brain stroming for you. This is how my best freind and I solve most of our problems together we just throw stuff at each other and find a way. I hope this helps you. Feel free to throw back. I know with pray and brain stroming we can find a way to help you.
