My gs is 7. Been going to school since 3k, been with us 6 years. Normal behavior, a few anxieties. Can't seem to learn to read, still does t know Ll of his letters, and if he does, he doesn't know what soy de they make. School has tested him , average intelligence, placed him in full time resource. Cannot it tell me what the real issue is . They used to say developmentally delayed, but now they ruled that out. Not dyslexic, and good eyes and ears. Has been in speech for 4 years but almost fully on level, just in the habit of the old way of saying stuff. IE weave me awone. But can clearly say leave me alone if corrected...I don't know what else I should do about his inability to read. School says they have done all the tests, I even insisted on auditory processing disorder, but they say he doesn't have that either. Where else would I take him. Or do I need to let go of my search for a label and let it go. It's so frustrating. They send home 5 words a week and usually he can't recall them a week later, if he LearnEd them at all

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
