That's not the case. The doctor wrote in her report that we were Happy, Healthy and Safe. When she testified she said, the opposite of what she wrote. Our attorney asked her if she spoke to anyone after she submitted her report and the doctor testified that she spoke to CPS and the AG who represents CPS. She also said when questioned by our attorney that this was her 2nd time working with CPS, and they will be sending over 20% of her business. They have to take her written report due to the fact CPS and the AG spoke with her after the report was submitted and she changed verbally what she wrote. (tainted testimony)

The Judge by LAW had to give us the kids. My husband and I have to go to counseling, drug classes and parenting classes to be able to keep the kids. These are the extra hoops we need to jump through.

Tomorrow our attorney will have the Adoption papers ready to file, to assure there are no delays. Our ins. only pays for six counseling visits, CPS requested we use our private Ins. The Drug classes and Parenting classes are six weeks each. within 6 mths. all of this will be gone and the kids will be ours. It's going to be a long winter, but all worth it in the end.

The system did not work with this case...The LAW did.

Whoops, I think I confused you with the other grand who said CPS accused her and her husband of being crazy. Then the doctor testified that they were perfectly normal.

That's what I get for being out all day yesterday at the polls. My brain is fried! HAHAHAHA!

Why are they making YOU take drug classes for crying out loud!!!!???

because we couldnt clearly identify when daughter was high or not.
I need couseling because I am sad about what accured.
Husband needs couseling because he said daughter he feels has a big heart. patenting class because its just a good idea.

Oh, I completely believe you!! Hope you didn't think I was insinuating you were making anything up!!! Maybe the class will actually be beneficial? I'm really thinking about starting to go to a Nar-Anon group myself because I NEED to be around some other people who are going through the same thing with loving addicts. I am SO excited for you getting the kids back! You can start feeding them healthy and start fattening them up again!!! Those babies will probably sleep better than they have since they left your house months ago!!

But I do think that's a little unfair. Some addicts who use regularly can probably fool a drug counselor. There is also a difference between someone who is under the influence; i.e. would test positive for drugs if given a test, and someone who is obviously, visibly high. There are high functioning alcoholics and high functioning addicts. My ex was a HIGH functioning alcoholic. His parents and family still to this day don't understand how much he was drinking when he went to prison 9 years ago. Outside of giving someone a pee test and getting immediate results, you can't know FOR SURE if someone is high. My GS's mother uses every day. However; she can come for a visit and act completely normal and if I didn't KNOW because I am completely familiar with her and understand her addiction, there aren't any physical signs; other than maybe scratching a little. If someone sees her track marks running up and down her arms, legs, feet, and hands, they would have to know; but she can behave quite rationally and normally because she has built up such a tolerance over the years. I can tell if someone has just used, but not necessarily if someone used 6 or 8 hours ago. The people who are telling you that you need the class probably wouldn't be able to identify whether or not your daughter or other addicts were high every single time either. Jusy sayin......................it's not that easy and I'm not sure a class will change that. But, I know, we jump through whatever hoops they tell us to in order to protect the kids.

Ok, who wouldn't be sad, how the heck are you supposed to know if she's high without a drug test, and geez your husband said something kind about biomom!!!! I'm sorry but these CPS people are just goofy.
