Tonight I talked to the girls about how they feel about a visiting their mother. I explained to them she has not asked to see them but if she does I need their input to make my decision about letting that happen. I was recently told she had made an intake appointment at a visitation center but had not shown up so I felt it was time to address the issue.

The oldest told me she wants to visit her Mom any where any how any way. The youngest says " It depends" Depends on what? " How long I have to see her for" How long do you want to see her for? " You know Mommy used to sit up down and talk to us for an hour every day about all sorts of things that are not and were not true, but you know she told us lots of stuff that was not true" I know hon and I am sorry she did that. "Well she does it" end of conversation.

I then asked the oldest if she understood where she would see her mother. "Yup at a visitation center and that is just fine with me"


Later I asked them to draw a picture of home. The oldest drew an outline of Mom's apartment and said some day I want a home like this. The youngest drew our home in detail, cars in the yard, dog yard complete with dog, trees in the yard, swing set. She said this is my home.
