I think I may know how that big hole in your heart feels. Sometimes, I search the internet for some little bit of knowledge, hoping she is alright. On my last search I found a mug shot. Surprisingly, I was happy, at least I know she is alive and hasnt been killed by one of her recent victims.
My girls are not safe if bios are around, still into drugs, etc... Being blamed for everything that I had nothing to do with, (I am not the one that watched horrific abuse [per 16 yr old] by the monster of both of my girls), I was not there during the final abuse that almost cost 16 yr old her life at under 3 yrs. I took back control of my life after I was awoken over and over by a phone ringing, when answered a "friend" of hers said hello (drunk and high) told me how dd "JUST WANTED TO TALK TO HER CHILDREN", I said "She doesn't have any!" and hung up. I told my hubs that he would be the one to answer the phone from that area from then on.
It isn't that I stopped loving and caring, I pray for her every day, but these 2 girls deserved better than a mourning mother. These kids feel enough guilt over what has happened, they didn't need me adding to it!
Hugs and prayers to all of you,
Mary
