Yes... I get to see the kids today...it's finally here! I have books,camera,diaper bag, sippy cup and will pick up lunch on the way.
My husband filled the car with gas last night, so I could work and not have to worry about filling up..just those little things make me fall in love with him all over again after 27 years.

I've found that asking little kids things like "what do you like about...." and "what don't you like about..." often reveals what they're really thinking. Something about giving them the plus and minus options seems to work better than asking questions outright. You might want to try something like that :-)

Try not to borrow worries until you get to see them! As for the size 4 diapers, they can fit children within, I believe a 5-10 pound range, so he may have been on the smaller end of the weight scale when he started in size 4 and still may have gained weight since then. They're pretty flexible with each size span. I also know that the bigger the size, the fewer diapers in the pack for the same price, so she may be keeping him in the smaller size for financial reasons, too. I had a great time with the kids! We danced and grampa read Green eggs and ham to GD. GD remembered the time I made them green eggs for St. Patricks day... Of course her cousin and her didn't eat them! GD put a flower into one of the books we were reading at the park as a marker over a month ago, that's the first thing she looked for when we took the books out of the bag. She was so thrilled to find the flower there at her page. GS saw grampa and started walking towards him when we were entering the room, then he saw me and smiled, ran towards me with a big hug for gramma. Grampa, said he has NO chance with GS while I'm around....He's my buddy LOL ! I thought the visit was going to go without a hitch...I was wrong! As we were getting ready to leave I went into the Foster Homes Diaper Bag to get a sippy cup so I could transfer GS drink from one of my cups to theirs for on the way home. The Sippy cup top had BLACK MOLD ! You could clearly see the mold, it was not like you had to look for it...What is up with that!!!! I showed this to the Parent aide and to my husband. I sent GS home with one of my cups. I asked the parent aide if she was going to document this, she told me yes...I didn't see her write anything down, she was on the visit over mode. I sent an e-mail of my visit with this information to my attorney.
I purchased a recording book from Wal-Mart. This book is titled Grandma & Me. The pages are great conversation starters, the first page it reads, what do you like best about Grandma's house? Then GD would say what she likes best and it's recorded. When I saw this book, it reminded me of Sara's comment. when youre finished there is a switch to store the recording forever. I will cherish this book!
