Good Morning
Boy oh Boy oh Boy! So many things have been going on, I would need a few months to sit and talk about them. However, there is something I do want to share with you all.
Many of the people who have been here awhile, know me by another name I used here, which in turn know a lot about our situation. I won't go into a huge amount of info right now, but we are and have been raising 2 of our gk's since their birth's. My DD is the mother of the two we are raising and she has a 1 yr old now too.
During the course of our conversations over the past few days/weeks, she has been telling me of incidents of abuse inflicted on her by the person she married (I tend not to use the term man here). He is not the bio of the 2 we are raising. Anyway, my SIL has major anger issues going on constantly. According to my DD, he hit her (DD) and/or pushed her causing her to fall and slice her leg open, which required stitches. He also smashed her cell phone so she couldn't call for help. He's chased her with a box knife cutter because she had the baby in her arms and was wanting to leave him because of the fighting and arguing. He told her that if she tried to leave him then he would hurt himself and her (my DD).
I told her that she needed to get away from him and take the baby too because who knows what's going on when she's not around him. He's not working because she said they can't afford DC. She is going to school, working a part time job at the school and working a part time job after school as well. I told her that someone is probably going to call CPS because things just aren't adding up. She wanted me to do it.
I called CPS this morning and made a report. I told them what I had seen personally with my own eyes and also told them what she told me. I told them the reason why my DD's husband isn't allowed to be anywhere near my kiddo's (the ones we are raising) alone. I told them of his anger outbursts. I told them about yelling constantly at the baby. I also told them that my daughter isn't always truthful with me BUT these things she is telling me, concerns me to the limit. I just want my youngest GD protected.
Hopefully this all comes to an end soon and my youngest GD can be protected from his tyranny, violence and abusive behavior.

Are you ready to get a third grandchild to raise? That could be how this ends...
Hopefully raising a 3rd won't happen, but if it does I/we will have to deal with it.
The CPS worker I spoke with yesterday seemed in a rush to get this case out there. I was giving her information to file the report with and she was rushing me telling me she needed to get this filed asap.
He is NOT welcome in or near my home any longer. He has no legal right to be near/see/or have anything to do with my kiddo's so I am not allowing him to be around them. My DD is more than welcome to come visit and bring their sister, but he's not allowed here.
In August, at my kiddo's birthday party, the spouse got mad at my gs because he wouldn't come to him. He called his name about 4-5 times and then just as I turned around, I saw him grab my gs's arm and yank him towards him. At first, I thought it was because he was in danger of getting hurt by one of the rides, but then I saw that he wasn't any where near a ride. My dd's spouse was just mad at my gs because the gs ignored the spouse. At their sisters bday party, my gs told the spouse that he hurt his arm when he pulled it, the spouse didn't acknowledge it and just turned away from my gs.

She is trying to get out of that situation, but when she has tried to leave with the baby, he has chased them waving a box knife cutter at her and threatening to harm my dd and himself.
I haven't heard anything back from my dd or the CPS worker. The last contact I had from the CPS worker was at 10:30 a.m. my time. That's about 3 1/2 hours ago. I tried to call my dd a bit ago but it went to VM and haven't heard from her either.
I hope everything is ok over there....
