This community is dedicated to grandparents who are the primary caregivers of their grandchildren. I just asked my attorney if we should contact the media on this now. He told me not yet, wait and see what the judge does tomorrow. I told my attorney I was scared to wait due to the kids could be removed from our lives forever based on how CPS is acting. My attorney told me the AG who represents CPS is on our side. Our attorney is going to speak with the kids GAL tomorrow because it was his doctor we used for the test and his Doctor who stated to allow the kids back in our care, my attorney feels the GAL should be on our side now as well. I told my attorney I didn't think so based on the conversations I've seen the Supervisor from CPS and the GAL having before and after court, they look to be pretty tight.
All of this because we did not have a safety plan in place and CPS personnel do NOT talk to each other.
I looked at what CPS sent the Doctor regarding this case last night. They had dates, events, and names wrong. You could tell they scrubbed their notes prior to sending them to the doctor and when they did, they didn't do a very good job. Now I see how why the doctor stated my time line was in sink at both the visit and follow up phone interview, and there was discrepancies in the CPS report. Thank God I have kept a journal!
1) I took the advise you have given by taking notes, notes and more notes.
2) I have taken your advise and I have made my case loud and clear to anyone willing to listen.
3) I have not and will NOT give up on the kids.
4) If I did as much neglect as the license Foster Home has done to these kids, CPS would have me in JAIL!
5) I will challenge this state on the 2008 Foster/Adoption act!

Try and take a deep breath. There isn't anything you can do until you get to court and hopefully will get some positive results tomorrow. Keep us posted!

mysteryinc: The suing will take place during #5...LOL and yes I tend to cling to my Grandchildrens cause. As far as being pulled apart? Well, that's what I'm doing here right now, letting it go so I can unload the clutter and look at everything with in open mind..
gmawilli: You and I are on the same "page" If this doesn't go our way tomorrow, I will make the call to the media in the court room for all to hear!
