This community is dedicated to grandparents who are the primary caregivers of their grandchildren. In cases where the parents are not willing or able to provide adequate care for their children, grandparents may take on the role of primary caregivers. last year GS was 5 in K4... and BG was 6 in kindergarten... they were in different schools... well this year she is 7 in 1st grade he is 6 in kindergarten and they both go to the same school... she is so bossy... you can't do this at my school... you have to do that at my school... you better not do this at my school you better do that at my school... I finally sat her down and told her... this school is now BOTH your school now not just YOUR school... If you want to help tell him that his isn't allowed to do this or that at school...
Our house can be totally quiet and peaceful when the eldest and EITHER of the younger two are home. But the minute the third appears the decibel level skyrockets. They're not exactly fighting all the time, or bossing each other around. They're just LOUD together, even when they're getting along.
My daughter-in-law says her two eldest are the same way. They drive her nuts.
I'm not looking forward the the homework crapioli again, because that's when those two go at it most. Yick.
