Last week and so far today is only Monday are the longest most stressful time I have had in awhile.
Last week DD called to say an investigator was at her house to serve my adopted. GD is being served as a state witness on a child molestation by her pretend -a- dad to another child. My GD/Adoptive daughter was interviewed several times while in the care of CPS. and even a forensic investigator. Nothing showed she was a victim or saw anything. ( at the time this was supposed to happen she was 4 years old). I told the investigator this and he of course told me I would have to take it up with the DA. I explained how I will, and if the DA is basing their case on the memory of an 8 year old who at the time was 4 then the DA doesn't have a case. I also went on to explain that my adoptive daughter was put through the ringer for two years with CPS and was just starting to blossom and I feel this would not be in her best interest. I guess he heard what I was saying, instead of showing up to serve me for my GD he called and told me the case was moved to continuance and if I don't see anyone in two weeks at my door, they will not be calling my GD. I'm on week 2 of the waiting game.
The girl who made the accusation was placed in JD for probation violation and made the same accusations about the male worker there and then she was placed in a physic place and again made the same accusations about a male worker. This girl who is making these accusations is the daughter of one of my friends. Her mom told me she was diagnosed with attachment disorder and also has no remorse for anything she does. She will be in this facility till she is 18 years old.
My adoptive GS just turned three last week. He has been peeing on the furniture which started last week! I thought he was doing this because he got involved in either a game he was playing or the TV show he was watching. However, already today I told him he was not allowed on the furniture until he can start going potty in the bathroom like a big boy again. I was in a different room, he jumped up on the couch and peed! When I came into the room, he had a smile on his face and I knew. I took him into the bathroom, placed him on the toilet and then placed him back into bed. I told him he did this on purpose it wasn't funny and he can stay in bed for as long as it takes. He had a smile on his face the whole time...I swear sometimes he looks possess!
I'm getting frustrated with the electronics in the house. If I could I would hide my husbands phone for a week and show him he can survive without FB and Text. Yesterday was the last draw. I'm talking to him and he goes on fb from his phone. I told him to put the phone down. He said he was catching up. Good catch up when I'm in bed! Last night GS wanted to play with my Husband a Gem game. I always let GS move whatever he wants and explode what he can on the game. My husband got pissed because GS made a move while he was playing. Granted GS is learning how to ask, it isn't happening everytime...Holy Cow it's only a game! I decided I'm going to take a picture of my husband starting tonight every hour on the hour showing him what his "family time" has been for the last three weeks. Maybe the pictures will be worth more than a thousand words he's not hearing me say due to his catch up on FB.
Yes, the kids come to me for everything. This weekend I told them in front of my husband that there are two adults in the house and they need to start going to GP when they see I'm in the middle of something.
I work from home, I have kids 24/7 take care of the house, play assistant teacher, cab driver, accountant, playmate and get the crap from everyone when something go wrong...like it's my fault! The cycle is starting to repeat itself!!!!!

Checking into a hotel does sound like a relaxing idea..............Of course, your kids will be on their own while your husband is on FB or playing video games. Geez.
As for how my day is going? My son decided at rest time this afternoon he was going to take all of his clothes off and pee in his bed. This by the way started after watching Big Daddy on my error and then trying to teach him to pee standing up.
At the risk of stirring the ire from many grands, I will go ahead and share an opinion. I was told there are several types of misbehavior in a patenting class. Kids not knowing they are doing wrong, attention getting, and purposeful defiance. Defiance requires action on your part. Your gs is peeing on the furniture in what appears like a new power struggle game or defiance to see what you will do. I would not restrict him from furniture, that's daring him to continue when your not looking. I would spank him. Some don't believe in that so feel free to substitute time or grounding him to his room for 5inutes but I think if you act quickly and decisively on this he will see a different game might be a better idea. Just my opinion folks, don't beat me up too badly.
Last night he took his PJs off but kept his night time pull ups on. I saw this and told him he was going to get cold and handed the PJ's to him. He wanted me to put them on, I told him he took them off, he can put them back on and walked out of the room. This morning PJ's were back on. Right now as I type he took them off. He wants me to chase him around the house and I'm not going to do it! I will sit on the floor and play which I have offered, but I'm not chasing him with cloths.
I thought I was the only patient person in the stores. When I get the chance to go to the store on my own, I will wait for anyone to get what they need, cause it's more time away for me!!!!! I even tell strangers, take your time, the more you do the longer husband has the kids LOL! The men don't understand and just look at me, The women smile and always make a good comeback comment!
