I understand what you are saying...My GS does not want to talk to his bio-mom either..and when he does he says one or two words and runs off playing....
Do this bio's understand what they are missing???
So I wanted to make it a special day for BG as well... so we went and had our nails and toes done, bought some "BLING" for her backpack, had lunch and a snow comb as well as we went to my older son's to let her play with my GD... their "besties"...LOL!! we had a GREAT time together and all day she kept saying to me "I'm having a good mother's day mom are you?" I would say yes daughter I am...you know why? she would say why.... I would say because I we are having a mother daughter day... she would smile ear to ear and say I love you!
DD has been calling a few times a week to talk to GD but her habit of only talkin g to GD for a couple of minutes has come back to bite her on the a$$. GD now does not want to talk to her for more than just saying hi most days. Yesterday when bio called GD said hi and then hung up on bio, saying "I don't want to talk to her. I am mad at mommy Krystal cause she is never around." I refuse to force GD to talk to bio mom. In my eyes bio is just reaping what she has sowed with GD.
When Pinky is here on weekends, all I hear is "because I'm your mother and I said so!" Or "I'm your Mother and I'm telling you to do it naaaaaaillll!" Or even worse: "Who wants to have lunchy-poo?" As if they're all three years old. She talks to them that way on the phone, too, so no wonder they have better things to do. LOL
