Grandparents Raising Children Support Group
This community is dedicated to grandparents who are the primary caregivers of their grandchildren. In cases where the parents are not willing or able to provide adequate care for their children, grandparents may take on the role of primary caregivers. Join the support group to find support, share your experience, and get advice from other members.
My grands can't tolerate caffeine or sugar, chocolate almost guRantees trouble, tea or sodas has them bouncing off Walls and furniture literally
Guilty me, I completely forgot to send them in green on st.patricks day, and I had even purchased shirts and hairbows! aaarRrrrggggg and we are part Irish so I really wanted to teach some heritage
With another child we had to allow some time to burn off pent up energy from the day before settling down again. With this same child we also used a small soft ball that could be held in the palm of his hand that he could squeeze while sitting & concentrating....that small amount of movement allowed him to focus.
Best of luck to you!
