I did it he is gone. I promise you he won't be back. For those that say you don't hate them just their ways, I'm sure not feeling any love now.But where do I go from here as I don't have the money to fight for custody. I have spent so much on son there is nothing left.

Good for you for being strong and making it clear you won't take his nonsense any longer. You have a lot to think about, but try to keep son off your mind and concentrate on your gc. Others here are better equipped to guide you in the steps to take now regarding custody of gs but I wanted to offer congrats on the huge, strong choice you've made to separate yourself from your son. Hang in there. PS.... I think your feelings towards son are reasonable under the circumstances - I have similiar feelings towards my bio. I been kicked in the teeth far too often to have any warm, fuzzy or hopeful feelings left for bio. Self preservation ! Self respect ! Both are absolutely essential.

Way to go now you can have some peace. About custody I live in Canada, but I started the whole custody thing on my own going to the courthouse seeing a lawyer there for free advice and filling out and filing papers myself, and serving the parents myself. Now I believe you have to get someone else to serve them and then sign papers saying that they did serve them. I only got a lawyer once is started going to court dates, but a friend of mine never got a lawyer and did it all herself. It ended up costing me $1000 and the parents never showed up for the court dates, and with my friend the same thing happened the parents never showed for the court dates. It will be better for your grandchild to not to have your son living there, now that my daughter is out of my home my gs is doing so much better. We haven't seen her in a month, shes supposed to set up visitation through the childrens center but they haven't called me yet to set up anything, so the drugs must be more important. Its very hard to love anyone even your own kids once they have hurt and disappointed you time and again.

It wasn't that he was drinking or drugs because he has to pass a drug test every week and i get the report, but it was his poor choice of friends. My house has been robbed twice in three months. They never took anything major. the first time it was WII console, all the games and change saved up. He was told then that They were never to allowed in the house again, ever. I have been riding with my husband on the truck for few weeks to get a break and we were robbed again on this time they took my gd's xbox, Only to find out he is letting his guy friends in to play after we told him no more. Absolutely so I was so mad he is out the door. Just because he makes poor decisions on friends and never listens to what you . This may sound petty to some but it is a constant battles, he just ignores everything we ask him to do and I'm done. After a police report was files then we were threatened by one of his friends and i will not tolerate this at all.

All he can say is he didn't do anything wrong, yes you did when you defied us over and over about having crappy friends at our house. I'm angry and upset that I'm becoming a full time parent again. Don't get me wrong cause I love my grand children but all is not fair in love and kids is it............
