So I have legal court documented custody of my 2 grandkids and have had them in my care and physical custody since they were born. They are now 6 and 7. Just about a year ago, I got pissed at my daughter and the kids' sperm donor and took them to court for child support and custody. My DD was court ordered to pay a minimal amount of CS per month yet she hasn't paid CS since we went to court last April.
Subsequently, my DD and her piece of shit husband (not my kids' father) filed their income taxes not too long ago. The IRS took $2600 of their return for back CS. Now the piece of shit (here after referred to as POS) husband is mad and he told my DD that he was thinking of getting a lawyer to take me to court for harassment. I started laughing at that thought so I asked my DD and what he thinks he is going to sue for harassment for? She said because I took her to court and sued them for CS. I started laughing so hard over that one. I told her to let him know that the State and the IRS are doing this... so he probably needs to sue them and not me. LOL
So then I told her to let him know that if he feels that's what he wants to do then by all means tell him to go ahead because I would make sure that he lost both of his kids (my DD's other 2 she has). I told her that when I am done with the court and the judge he would lose both of the kids because all I had to do is open my mouth and tell them what he's done AND take my lil boy in there and have him tell the judge that on Christmas day, the POS tried to hit him, then also mention the fact that the cops were called to my house that day too because of him. I then have documentation of what my DD has sent me via FB about his outbursts.
I sent my daughter a text and told her "You can let him know that he can try to intimidate you and push you around and verbally abuse you but guess what? He won't do that to me. He is a bully and a coward who likes to hide behind children and if he feels like he wants to waste his money and try to sue me, ten go for it. He doesn't scare me nor does intimidate me and I'm not afraid of him."

He does the threatening thing quite often and I do believe he has more issues with unstable mental health issues than any 10 people I know.
My husband and I wished she would!!!! Showing that kind of ambition and determination would demonstrate that her brain might be working better. But it was always threats without any follow-up at all.
Whenever she would make the threats I'd just say "bring it on! See you in court!" and that would be the end of it.
