My grandson was injured yesterday at his football game. I ended up rushing him to ER in horrible pain. He had been hit in the groin, they did an ultra sound, and said the cord twisted and cut off the blood supply to one of his testicles, so they called in a surgeon. After reviewing the ultrasound he did not have much hope for saving the testicle. My grandson went into the emergency surgery believing he would likely lose it. Fortunately, the surgeon was able to save it, my grandson is recovering, and we are all so thankful he is alright.
