Her new manipulation is to try very hard to call the kids every day so she can come here for Thanksgiving. I've been timing the calls - not one is longer than five minutes -- to talk with all three kids!!!
She's actually made it three nights in a row, and we're wondering how long it will last.
Your thoughts are more than likely right about biomom.I would just take care of the baby and not worry about her at all.It is her responability to check on her child and not yours to have to track her down to inform her( your being nice to do that).I have seen this lots of times in fostercare. When you get the attitude you got from her she is portraying herself as the most important one in the picture when the attition (sp) should be on the child, she wants it to be on her. These moms are a dime a dozen and always put theirself first. That sounds harsh but the most important thing is the child and I personally want to say thank you for taking care of the baby. She is lucky to have you to lover her. Everyone alse is old enough to take care of themselfs.
I hope and pray for your return to good health quickly.I am sorry if I sounded harsh about the bio mom.I just get so ill at moms who take no responability for their children and the children with who cares for them suffer because of it.
Oh, well...
WOW. This is my daughter. Raised by us, and knows very well we do what we can to keep the kids healthy.
I just laughed at her,"WOW, all I can say to that is WOW" I passed the phone to my 3 yo gs.
Such a superior attitude from someone who is not raising their own kids and hasnt done anything to get the oldest back in over 2 years. WOW
I can't believe your bios aren't all over this situation. I would have been there helping, encouraging and supporting if my kids were living with their gp and were ill. I guess it just goes to show who is most important in their minds.....themselves.
Hope everyone is getting better.
