Grandparents Raising Children Support Group
This community is dedicated to grandparents who are the primary caregivers of their grandchildren. In cases where the parents are not willing or able to provide adequate care for their children, grandparents may take on the role of primary caregivers. I would stop taking her calls but the mother in me wants to know that she is OK.I love her but I hate what she has done to these boys.I have changed my number a couple of times but she always ends up getting it some how.She has always had alot of mental problems but I never dreamed she would go as far as she has where the boys are concerned. She went from making death threats against the oldest and myself when I got custody of him when he was born to not even aknowledging they exist now.
Have you checked on the laws of you state reguarding her status if she looses a child through CPS? In the state I am in if a "parent" (I happen to think you need to actually be parenting a child to have that title) and have rights terminated by the state here then any other children can be TPR'd even those yet to be born. That would allow you to adopt, that is the only permenent way to protect a child.
Hugs and prayers go out to you and the boys!
