As you all might know I had to give the GKs to foster care while I took care of my health issues. My health is now good. As you all warned me, once in FC I would have to fight to get them back. My husband and I hired a lawyer last month. To make a long story short, CPS is saying I allowed my GD to visit someone she wasn't supposed to. I never allowed one on one visits even though the CPS letter stated case closed. I never got a safety plan from CPS and when I gave a copy of the letter from CPS showing the case was closed to the caseworker, he never said anything about no contact either! The Foster Care review Board told CPS to send my GD back to her school..They did not! The Foster Care review board knew this was supposed to be a temp situation as well and wrote the judge that GD should never have been removed from school. I feel CPS had this all set up and my health gave them a good jump on what they wanted.

when I first called the Caseworker about my health and FC all the CW wanted to do was rant and rave about how she was going to remove my daughters rights. I had to remind her three times this had nothing to do with me and the children at this that time.

Court is the 18th. Court was suppose to be set for the 6th, but once the Judge received my petition, he set a new date with more time.

My GC are in a primary Spanish speaking home. My GS has had his first hair cut w/o permission from my daughter twice! My GD has recieved a double dose of MMR due to FM not taking the shot book I gave her and relying on the County shot record Computer System. They gave my GS something called Baby Tea to help him sleep at night. GD gets hit and hair pulled by a FB who is the same age and told to shut up all the time, when we are trying to have our weekly phone call. GS is sleeping in a travel crib instead of a full size crib. FM tried to give 3rd dose of flu shots to my GS on Wed. My daughter and her parent aide got that stopped. The list goes on, and believe me I have more stress now !

I keep praying to God he hears my prayers for the kids to come home safe with me. Sometimes I feel this falls on deaf ears and I'm afraid when I think about what can happen to my GC if the judge allows this to continue. I REALLY didn't know CPS didn't want contact. I thought I was doing right by allowing contact, but supervised, even though based on the letter, I didn't have too!
