Scgramma, Welcome! I'm sorry you and your little GS are going through this right now. Bio's can be so "meme", they have no idea how their actions hurt others! Sounds like you've had your GS for awhile. The hardest part is making sure he knows he's special too. Do you have family back where your from that can keep you informed on the GD? This is a good place to come for information or just to vent.

Scgramma - May I ask why she only regained custody of her daughter. I think it's very sad to split them up and my heart breaks for you and your gs. Nuts had a good question about knowing anyone that can check up on your GD. Will keep you in my prayers.

My gs was born when my dd was 16, she left him with grandmother nd biodud to go to store, biodud hit 5 week old for crying. Dss took him for a year. I believed her rebellious ways were teen angst and resentments . Her treatment plan was therapy, parenting classes, and get a job and a place to live. Instead of getting a job she chased men for another couple years, getting pregnant twice, losing one to prematurity. I was awarded full custody in 08 . She moved in and out, and appears to pick one deadbeat after another. I had gd for 6 months when she was a baby after mom threatened suicide on a daily basis. She completed therapy and got gd back, there was only a treatment plan no court action. In those years I kept thinking shed settle down, get stable, stop cursing us out whenever she didn't get her way. She never grew out of it. My belief is she's borderline personality disorder. I think my mother was as well. Butter wouldn't melt in her mouth unless you don't give her what she wants. Histrionics and drama, can't take responsibility for own actions, now living wih friends and saying she's leaving the state . Since I allowed her to move in and out and see gs as much as she wanted at my expense, my gs misses her and his sister. I miss her, last year I took care of he
r for 6 months while biomom worked nights so they got really close. But biomom got back with deadbeat boyfriend and gave up her job and moved 120 miles away. Again I don't miss the drama butvi miss my gd.she always used to threaten me with disappearing wih the kids and although she's calling me to complain about gd father not sending child support (she never gave me a dime) I think her intention is to get tax check and move away. Deadbeat will use her until there's no money left and move back with his mother. After last big fight at Christmas she has burned too many bridges in my house to come back. She breaks things and curses us out in front of kids and is just too much . Gs asked me why mommy can't come to house. I told him I don't want any fighting and she wants to fight. He at 6 says yep I want my house to be fun house like my friends. The whole family me gs and pawpaw are at peace, it's so nice I have no business complaining .

Gd paternal grands are down there so I hope they see her sometimes. However her biodud moved up north with his new gf with 3 kids, he only pays his child support when they find him and pull it from his check. Wish he'd at least move back to keep eye in things, just another alcoholic who can't keep a job...she withuolds child to make him pay, jit sure if they are allowed to see her right now.again , her idea of justice has nothing to do with what child needs
..I do pay her cell phone so if something bad happens she will call. Again I offer no money , but willing to take gd if necessary, for instance if she gets picked up on that disturbing the peace warrant. She doesn't use drugs or drink a lot, sometimes I wish she did so I'd have something to blame. I love her just can't stand her ways.
